Return Policies

30-Day Money Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee, no questions asked, that gives you time to make sure you are one hundred percent satisfied with your purchase.  If you need to make a return for any reason, we'll happily provide you with an exchange or full refund. 

Our Return Policy

Please note that you are eligible for return only if returned merchandise is in their original purchase condition, unworn, undamaged and unaltered in any way.  Items prepared for a return shipment must be insured, securely wrapped in their original packaging and accompanied by complete product documentation.  Returns and exchanges are allowed within 30 days from the purchase date.  Exchanging for a different product can be simplified by returning an item for refund and placing a new order.  Please allow 1-2 weeks for your refund request to be fully processed.  If the goods are delivered to you damaged, please refuse the shipment and call our Customer Service Department immediately. Claims for damaged or missing items must be reported immediately upon receipt of your order.  Alexander Sparks is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged returned shipments. 

All returns should follow the Return Merchandise Authorization procedure described below. 

1. Acquire Return Merchandise Authorization Code 

Please contact our Customer Service Department to get your Return Merchandise Authorization code which must be clearly written on the return form and on the outside of the shipping box.  For orders of $500 or less, Return Merchandise Authorization code can be acquired online. 

The following instances are exempt from the online return-and-refund procedure:

  1. Item(s) shipped over 30 days ago.
  2. Individual purchases over $500.
  3. Exchanges, repairs, or resizing.
  4. Items that became damaged or defective after delivery.
  5. Engraved items (rings excluded).

2. Use Appropriate Packaging

The item is to be sent in the original packaging accompanied by complete paperwork (such as instructions, warranties, diamond certificates, etc.) If diamonds are returned without a certificate, you will be liable for the $250 replacement cost. 

3. Insure Your Package

For your own safety, it is advised that all items returned are fully insured. 

Orders $500 or Less:

For such orders, shipment can be arranged via any carrier.  Online returns are also possible. 

Orders $500 or More:

Return Merchandise Authorization code for such orders is acquired through our Customer Service Department.  Shipment via US Postal Service is advised.  You may request a return receipt at a nominal fee that will notify you when your return shipment is delivered to Alexander Sparks.  It is recommended that shipments of $1000 or more are sent via US Postal Service Registered Mail™ for effective and efficient tracking. 

Orders $25000 or More:

Such high-value orders require a special return procedure.  Please call our Customer Service Department for instructions and assistance. 

Return requests are processed on business days.  You will receive a confirmation e-mail the moment your merchandise reaches our Quality Assurance Department.  Returned items are then inspected to verify their condition and authenticity, which takes 2-4 business days.  The full processing requires 1-2 weeks and additional 2-4 days are needed for refunds.  All refunds will be issued in the original form of payment. 

Non-Refundable Items

Special orders, engraved jewelry except rings, eternity bands and tension rings cannot be returned or exchanged.  Uninsured, improperly packed items with incomplete product documentation and without Return Merchandise Authorization code will be refused receipt.  Alexander Sparks does not allow C.O.D. shipments and will not be liable for any unauthorized shipping expenses incurred. 

Shipping Charges

All return shipping and insurance fees are at the customers’ expense and are non-refundable. 

PayPal Returns

Store credit is allowed for returned PayPal orders.  Your account will be credited in approximately 2 weeks. 

Sale Price Adjustments

Sale price adjustments must be made within 7 days of the original shipment date unless otherwise specified.  Price adjustments will be provided as store credit. 

Cancellation or Change of an Order

Cancellations and changes of orders are easily feasible up to the shipping date.  Special orders and already shipped items are not subject to changes or cancellation.  Please contact our Customer Service Department for assistance if the order you want to change or cancel is already shipped.

Shipping Policies

All purchased items are insured for their full value before shipment, insurance lapses immediately after delivery of an item and as soon as the customer signs for a package.  Please make sure to inspect your order for any possible damage before signing for receipt.  In case you receive merchandise damaged during delivery, please refuse the shipment and call our Customer Service Department immediately.

Sparks provides estimated delivery dates for all available items so you may know when to expect your order. 

Your order will be managed on the same day if placed on any regular business day before the cut-off time. 

Orders placed on weekends, during the holidays or after the cut-off time on a business day are managed the next business day. 

Alternate Shipping Addresses

Sparks permits delivery to alternate shipping addresses provided that your issuing bank has both your billing address and your alternate shipping address on file. 

Shipping Options

Shipments are carried out free of charge via FedEx Ground®, FedEx 2Day® or FedEx Priority Overnight®.  The shipping options depend on the price of your order (taxes excluded). 

A signature upon receipt of a delivery is mandatory.  Expedited delivery or a Saturday delivery can be arranged for a minimal fee.
