Susan Clickner is a self taught artist whose work is inspired by her own country lifestyle. She paints all of her work on native wood, which helps give her art the warmth and depth that is immediately recognizable.

Born in 1910, Nellie Irene Hill had a strong interest in painting, particularly botanical studies. Although she had to set aside her studies during the Great Depression, she picked up her brushes several years later at the encouragement of her daughters.
